THE THREE MAJOR BETRAYALS IN THE BIBLE AND THEIR CONSEQUENCES ….ST. JOHN 13 VERSE 27

INTRODUCTION
Image result for three major betrayals in the bible

Well mon, people it is that time of the month again! January has been very hectic been travelling by foot and public transportation in the eastern part of the United States.  It has been challenging but quite an eye opener. Unfortunately, I have not been very well received because of the Canadian factor. They go ahead of me and rile up the public officials and the police. I am realizing that everybody could do with a little more money. So no one seems to be immune. All the Libraries have the Canadian spy program. Everyone eavesdrop on what I am doing on the computer. I will have to continue to plod on it was never easy for anyone who had to stood up for their principles. I have a series of Blog coming up i am particularly looking forward to the one on Welfare as done by God.  I want to show the Church how far we have fallen from the original plan and why it can't be done by government.

REFLECTIONS

This topic came to me in 2010 during one of the most difficult periods in my life. It is one of the topics that is included in my two journals that were stolen. 2010 was the year I read the Bible through twice in one year. I could not get enough of the word because I needed answers. We will be looking at the three major betrayals King Saul and David, Ahitophel and David and Judas and the Master. What took place and the lessons learnt.

I.          KING SAUL DESTROYED BY JEALOUSY
King Saul realized that God had anointed David to succeed him on the throne instead of his son Jonathan.  He was so wrought that it lead to insanity, King Saul had only himself to blame. When he was chosen he was head and shoulders above everybody else (be careful of these people who are taller than everyone else physically), they might be the choice of men but not the choice of God. Man looketh at the outer God looketh at the heart I Samuel 16 verse 17. King Saul was very disobedient I Samuel 15 verse 22 and wanted to blame the people for his actions.  God took the kingdom from him and gave it to a little shepherd boy by the name of David. Now David did not ask to be king he was just in the field learning ‘The Art of War’ with his sling and honing his skills as a musician. The prayer warrior part was to come later when King Saul was chasing him and he had four hundred vagrants to deal with.
Can you imagine you are in distress and you have four hundred people who are even  more distressed than you?  Talk about praying all types of prayers. King Saul chased King David his replacement for thirteen years.
1 Samuel 13 -    King Saul offered sacrifice illegally.
1 Samuel 15 -  King Saul disobeyed the Lord again. The kingdom is symbolically taken from him by God.
After this in  I Samuel 16 we see where God sent Prophet Samuel to secretly anoint David as king. I tell you God and His diplomacy for fear of Samuel’s life and that of Jesse and his family.  The Bible says ‘But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him. 1 Samuel 16 verse 14 . King David was appointed to play for King Saul.  David’s one minute elevator speech enunciated by one of the servants ‘Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the Lord is with him.’1 Samuel 16 verse 18 . David was hired to play for King Saul. David got to learn about life in the palace.
1 Samuel 17 - King David annihilated the giant Goliath that everyone was hiding from including King Saul. He officially became a part of the palace marrying King Saul’s daughter Michal. He and King Saul’s son Jonathan, became best friends.
1 Samuel 18 verse 5  And David went out withersoever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of war; and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul’s servants.
Fantastic scripture which indicated that the young man did not become carried away with all the attention and behaved carelessly, which makes the ultimate betrayal that more condemning.
1 Samuel 18 verse 6-7   indicated that it is not even what you say that gets you in trouble but what other people say about you. It was the ladies that commended David and Saul became very wroth and began keenly observing David from that day on. Then the evil spirit came on him and while David was playing he tried to kill him. 1 Samuel 18 verse 11.
1 Samuel 18 verse 12 King Saul became afraid of David for ‘the Lord was with him and was departed from Saul’. 1 Samuel 18 verse 14-16

The rest of the chapter is full of King Saul’s deception in order to get David killed.  The daughter that he should have married was given to another (that is prophetic a strategic move by the all-knowing God). In order to get him killed King Saul asked him to get one hundred foreskins of the Philistines as a dowry for his daughter, which he did.  He ultimately got the girl, and the girl loved him and he became the father in law’s continual enemy.
1 Samuel 18 verse 30 –  David behaved himself so well in exalted company that his name was constantly being called.
1 Samuel 19 –  Private sin become public. King Saul wanted everyone to assist him to kill David even his own son Jonathan and later his daughter Michal.
1 Samuel 20 verse 31 – King Saul actually told Jonathan that as long as David was alive Jonathan would not ascend the throne. In fleeing King Saul, David got assistance from the Priests of Nob which angered the former who got Doeg the Edomite, to do the dirty work killing all seventy Priests.
1 Samuel 21 verse:10-15  In fleeing David went to Gath where he pretended to be a mad man to save his life.
In 1 Samuel 22 –  David went to live in the caves of Adullam where he was joined by all his household and everyone that was in distress, everyone in debt and everyone that was discontented gathered themselves unto him and he became a captain over them and there were with him about four hundred men.
1 Samuel 23 –  David became an official fugitive living among the Philistines and fighting against the Philistines.  One major constant in David’s life was that he was always enquiring of the Lord. He did not move until the Priest used the Ephod to know what the Lord is saying. One of the major thing was that the people that David helped would betray his whereabouts to King Saul.
In 1 Samuel 24 -  David had his first opportunity to wipe out King Saul and this was his response. I Samuel 24 verse 6 ‘And he said unto his men, The Lord forbids that I should do this thing unto my master, the Lord’s anointed…
I Samuel 25 verses 42 - 43 -  David took time out in the wilderness to get married.
1 Samuel 26 verse 2 - So many soldiers came after one man. Reminds me of my life and the whole host of criminals that I see on a daily basis running around like headless chickens following me.
1 Samuel 26 verses 8 - 11 - God delivered King Saul into David’s hands a second time.
1 Samuel 28 verse 6 – God stopped communicating with Saul.  Terrible state to be in when the Lord himself cut you off.  Because of this King Saul who had cut off all Psychics and Sages in the land had to seek out one disguising himself in other raiment.
1 Samuel 30 –  Ziklag where David and his bunch hang out was raided while they were on a raid and all their possessions and families were taken. At the first sign of trouble all David’s men were willing to stone him.  The Bible says that David encouraged himself and then enquired of the Lord. 1 Samuel 30 verse 8.
1 Samuel 20 verses:22-25  -  Principle established by David, everybody partake equally as part of the team whether you tended the stuff or went to battle.

The Demise of King Saul
I Samuel 31 verse 34 – King Saul fell on his own sword after his armour bearer refused to kill him. A good life was wasted because of hatred and jealousy not only he died but all his sons died on the same day.

II.        AHITOPHEL – THE ORACLE OF GOD THAT COMMITTED SUICIDE

How does one go from being a mouth piece of God to someone who commits suicide? Let us explore!! This I find to be one of the most tragic stories of the Bible. I mean very tragic, very, very tragic. Yuh feel mi people!! From where I am sitting Ahitophel should have died a martyr not a sinner.  This story more than any other gives credence to the quote by Edmund Burke- The only thing that is necessary for evil to prevail is for good men to keep silent.
Ahitophel as per 2 Samuel 15 verse 12 was King David’s trusted counsellor. He was the first man to hold that office under King David’s government 1 Chronicles 27 verses 33 - 34.  He had the King`s ears, I think he was spineless and a coward who wanted to spare his own life.

Before we go much further let us look at some facts about this fellow Ahitophel. He was a Gilhonite from the tribe of Giloh. Giloh was near Hebron, Joshua 15 verses 51-55.  This was Caleb’s country where those traitors the Ziph who betrayed David lived. The Bible does not speak to the specific way and time the relationship was formed and one does not want to speculate. Suffice it to say in 2 Samuel 11 verse 3  King David was warned (or someone was trying to caution him) that Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite. Who listens to reason when they are ridden by hormones?
Let me interject here I am reminded of the book 'A Man for All Seasons Sir Thomas Moore'. Almost identical situation involving one of the Henry VIII of Great Britain who wanted to marry female he should not marry. Of course in those days monarch listened to church or got rid of them.  If the church did not endorse the marriage nobody else would. I think most people in the story capitulated because they did not want to lose their heads except for this fellow Sir Thomas Moore who was eventually sent to the dungeons and then to the gallows. But we are still reading about him as a man who stood for what he believed in. Those days church and state were intimately intertwined. I don’t know where we got this foolishness about separation of church and state. It is the church more than anything else that caused the expansion of the British Kingdom. Quoting from James Baldwin The Fire Next Time pg 45 – ‘When the white man came to Africa, the white man had the Bible and the African had the land, but now it is the white man who is being, reluctantly and bloodily, separated from the land, and the African who is still attempting to digest or to vomit up the Bible’.
Ahitophel did not want to lose his head like Sir Thomas Moore. He allowed King David to commit this sin.

Who was Eliam?

In II Samuel 23 verse 34(b) where the lists of King David’s thirty and Seven mighty men were being listed it states ‘Eliam the son of Ahitophel the Gilonite.  This means that King David was having an affair with Ahitophel’s granddaughter and murdered his son in law. People, now do you see why the Bible say if you have ought against your brother you ought to go to your brother and you are not to allow the sun to go down on your anger. If your trusted adviser cannot speak to you. Who can? Here it is before Ahitophel dealt with the matter he internalized things and had a grudge against King David carrying for a number of years. Hence the reason God used Prophet Nathan in a diplomatic way to deal with King David. Ahitophel was too busy sulking. Reminds me of Mrs. Ellorine Walker former principal of Merl Grove High School who said to me once, ‘Raphleta, what are you sulking about now? Ahitophel needed someone like her to deal with him direct and to the point.

Root of Bitterness

Ahitophel allowed the root of bitterness to fester in his heart which became the motivation to turn on King David and join Absalom. Hebrews 12 verses 14 - 15
In 2 Samuel 15 verse 12  Absalom immediately sent for Ahitophel and sought his counsel when he was trying to overthrow his father. This indicates that there was some dissension between King David and his Chief Adviser or the fact that Absalom had inside information on what had taken place. You know the grapevine otherwise called Nomadic News Network (NNN).
In 2 Samuel 16 verses 21 - 23  just to indicate how accurate Ahitophel was in his counsel.  The same things that Nathan predicted in 2 Samuel 12 verse 10 - 11  were the same things that Ahitophel told Absalom to do. The man was 100% correct.  I tell you I want to stone some of these Armani and Gucci suited gentlemen that call themselves prophets. The Prophet Jeremiah said they are saying that God said when he has said nothing.
In 2 Samuel 17 verses 1 - 2 I tell you Ahitophel was motivated, not being satisfied with the ultimate degradation and insult that Absalom could inflict on his father by openly sleeping with his wives and concubines. He wanted to have his ultimate revenge by killing King David himself.  He wanted to pursue David capture him when he is weak, and destroy him.  He wanted the ultimate vengeance. King David puts it this way in Psalm 41 verse 9’Yea mine own familiar friend in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.’
Ahitophel was not wise enough or he would have known that ‘vengeance is mine saith the Lord I will repay' Romans 12 verse 19.  The fact of the matter is that King David had already dealt with the sin in 2 Samuel 12 verse 13 . King David had already sought forgiveness and God had promised that he would not die.
God overturned the counsel of Ahitophel as prayed by King David 2 Samuel 15 verse 31.  Mon people you are only fooling yourselves when you are making excuses for your sins.  King David shows how repentance is done

Suicide - The Ultimate Indication of Hopelessness

In 2 Samuel 17 verse 23  when Ahitophel saw that his counsel was overturned he packed up his ass went home, set his affairs in order and committed suicide. This was the most idiotic thing he could have done. Suicide negates the power of God. It is saying one is so far gone that God is not able to help. That is not what my Bible says in Psalm 139. It says whatever the situation He  has us covered. It also speaks to the fact that the man was full of pride. He should have the Canadians and the African mutants otherwise known as Bro. Anancy Nigerians to deal with like me.  The first thing was that they uncovered my nakedness, then they tried to destroy me with bio-terrorism, then they along with the crooked Jamaican politicians and businessmen stole all that I have and they continue to try and steal all that I have. Death is final once there is life there is hope.  I am reminded of the story of the man in the tree that ate his last banana and was about to jump because he thought he had nothing to live for.  Then he looked down and saw a man under the tree eating the banana peel he had thrown away. Moral of the story when you think you are wiped out there is always someone worse than you.
I state categorically King David would not have killed him as evidenced by the scriptures.  He did not kill Joab who murdered General Abner deceitfully.  He did not kill Shimei who cursed him most disgracefully when he was leaving town because of Absalom and he did not kill Ziba who lied to him about Mephibosheth. He left them all to King Solomon 1 Kings 2 verses 1 - 8  Ahitophel was King Solomon’s great grandfather. I tell you this Bible is a book for all seasons.
I always wondered why of all King David’s children that God fell in love with Solomon.  I think I have found the answer; it is the consolation to Ahitophel and Uriah. After all they were both good men. Psalm 115 verse 3 ‘He sits in the heaven and he does as he pleases'. When you can’t believe his hand trusts his heart says the song

If Ahitophel had not allowed bitterness to blind him and committed suicide he would have lived until he died and seen his great grandson become king of Israel.

III.    JUDAS ISCARIOT – PRE-ORDAINED VERSUS CHOICE

The most terrible betrayal in the Bible! Someone had to do it but you would not want it to be you. Let us deal with the whole question of pre-ordination versus choice. God is omni- Omniscient meaning he knows everything, Omni-present He is everywhere present and he is Omni-potent meaning He is all powerful.  He is also the alpha and omega.  He knows the end of a matter even before he starts it.  Having said that, you will note that all through scripture Judas had a choice, no one pushed him.  He made an adult decision based on his avarice. Let us now look at his non committed behavior throughout scriptures.

Lack of Faith in Jesus
Although Judas was chosen to be one of the twelve  St. John 6 verse 64 scriptural evidence points to the fact that he never believed Jesus to be God. One gets the impression that Judas was not convinced that Jesus is the Messiah, based on the Jewish interpretation of what the Messiah should be.  The other disciples called Jesus ‘Lord’, not Judas instead he called him ‘Rabbi’ acknowledging Jesus as nothing more than a teacher. The other disciples made profession of faith and loyalty St. John 6 verse 68  and 11 verse 16  Judas never did and appears to have remained silent on these occasions.

Personal Relationship with Jesus
Judas not only lacked faith in Christ but he also had little or no personal relationship with Jesus. When the Synoptic Gospels list the twelve, they are always listed in the same general order with slight variations (St. Matthew 10 verses :2 - 4St. Mark 3 verses 16 - 19 and St. Luke 6 verses 14 - 16 ).  The general order is believed to indicate the relative closeness of their personal relationship with Christ. Despite the variations, Peter and the Brothers James and John are always listed first, which is consistent with their relationship with Jesus.  Judas is always listed last, which may indicate his relative lack of personal relationship with the Christ.  In addition, the only documented dialogue between Jesus and Judas involves Judas being rebuked by Jesus after his greed motivated remark to Mary. St. John 12 verses 1 - 8. Judas’ denial of his betrayal St. Matthew 26 verse 25 , and the betrayal itself.  St. Luke 22 verse 48 .
Judas was consumed with greed to the point of betraying the trust of not only Jesus, but also his fellow disciples St. John 12 verses 4-6.

Wrong Motives
Judas may have desired to follow Jesus simply because he saw the great following and believed he could profit financially. The fact that Judas was in charge of the money bag for the group is indicative of his interest in money  St. John 13 verse 29.  Judas like most people at that time believed that Jesus would overthrow Roman occupation and take a position of power ruling over the nation of Israel. A number of persons in addition to Judas was hoping to benefit from association with Him as the new reigning political power; expecting to be among the new elite after the revolution. By the time of Judas' betrayal, Jesus had made it clear that He planned to die, not start a rebellion against Rome. Judas must have assumed not unlike the Pharisees that since He would not overthrow the Romans, He must not be the Messiah they were expecting.

Old Testament Referral To the Betrayal
1. Psalm 41:9 King James Version (KJV)
Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. Fulfillment St matthew 26 verse 14 and 48-49
Fulfilled:
Matthew 26:14-16 King James Version (KJV)
14 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,
15 And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.
16 And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.
Matthew 26:48-49 King James Version (KJV)
48 Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.
49 And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.
2. Zechariah 11:12-13 King James Version (KJV)
12 And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver.
13 And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord.
Fulfilled:
Matthew 27:3-5 King James Version (KJV)
Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.
And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.
These Old Testament prophecies indicate that Judas' betrayal was known to God and that it was sovereignly planned beforehand as the means by which Jesus would be killed.

CONCLUSION

In concluding, in all three cases mentioned the root of the matter had to do with the heart condition of the persons.  King Saul was a very insecure leader who allowed covetousness and jealousy to overcome his heart. I was just reading the Ten Commandments as I do my yearly routine of going through the Bible at least once per year and while reading the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20, I was amazed at how detailed the Lord was in outlining the things that should not be coveted. I said to myself the Lord really knows the creatures he has made. He was simply saying you should not want to be like the Jones'. Keep your nose out of your neighbour's business. King Saul wanted it all and lost everything.

In the, case of Ahitophel a really tragic story!  We are reminded of Proverbs 4:23 King James Version (KJV)
23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
This wise, not so wise man allowed bitterness to take root in his heart and eventually destroyed him and eventually lost the ultimate his life. King David was also culpable but he is wise. He knew the power of repentance. 1 John 1:9 King James Version (KJV)
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Reminds me of a Sister in the church that once told me the feet of Jesus was always a safe place to be. Why don't we listen to Ron Kenoly's 'I will Come and Bow Down'.
Judas! Judas! Judas! what can one say but, I am lucky I am not him.  One also has to look at the situation in context. Remember pretext, post text and context.  Contextually, it is said that hind sight is 20/20. Meaning we now have the full picture of what took place back then.  In their days the teachings and actions of Jesus were very revolutionary.  Remember after he was crucified everyone went back to fishing. Unfortunately, Judas' motives were not pure and by the time he realized his error Satan had already entered him and had his way St John 13:27 King James Version (KJV)
27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
From our discourse I think we can safely say God does not look upon betrayal very well, all cases ended up in death of the individuals who did the betrayal.  We can also clearly see that these persons hearts were never at peace.  The Bible says if your heart condemns you, God is greater than our hearts and knoweth all things 1 John 3 verses 19-21.  The Bible again says we are to be at peace with all men. Yes people you are not going to love everyone and if we follow the Sermon on the Mount way of doing things we will avoid a lot of conflicts and heartaches.  If you have  ought against your brother go to your brother and talk to your brother.  That is the only way the church is going to have effective growth.

This is me Lillene’s baby girl coming to you from the city that never sleeps New York, USA

IDENTITY….II CORINTHIANS 5 VERSE 17

INTRODUCTION

Well mon, people it is that time of the month again! I want to open this Blog with this letter because I want to shock you all out of complacency. From my experience in North America this letter is 100% accurate. Don’t kill the messenger. Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo has also done a series on identity where he used this piece of correspondence. He did it to promote his book I am doing it because of the total foolishness that I hear coming from the pulpit. One of the things that the petits minded criminally challenged Canadians have sought to do is put me in my place. By now you all should know that Canadian is one of the most ethnically diverse countries in the world I think it is second only to Dubai and Los Angeles. My philosophy is that I have said that I am going to enjoy the different nationalities. Have an experience of what heaven will be like, does not seem like most people think like me. So most place I went I was either the only black person or we would be very few in numbers. When people wanted to harass me at the Library they had to bring them out.  It was mostly myself, the Asians and the Caucasians at the library.  So the Nazis in Mississauga subtly started to tell me to stay in my community. Of course I ignored them.  I am a free agent.  Then I wrote them and told them I wanted to join their Committee unheard of.  Black people are well behaving and keep their places. People have you seen the controversy with the H & M advertisement. H & M Controversy. The people are quite right some of you would kill and engage in all sort of questionable activities for their cheap clothes. Nigerians you are the ones they are poking fun at.  You shall be the but of every joke like that Canadian team Toronto Maple Leafs.  They have mastered the art of the psychology of how to keep on losing. Let us look at the letter Tommy Hilfiger is featured:

Blacks Don’t Read
This is very deep, and unfortunately, very true!
This is a heavvvvy piece and a Caucasian wrote it.
THEY ARE STILL OUR SLAVES
We can continue to reap profits from the Blacks without the effort of physical slavery. Look at the current methods of containment that they use on themselves: IGNORANCE, GREED, and SELFISHNESS.
Their IGNORANCE is the primary weapon of containment. A great man once said, “The best way to hide something from Black people is to put it in a book.” We live now in the Information Age. They have gained the opportunity to read any book on any subject through the efforts of their fight for freedom, yet they refuse to read.
There are numerous books readily available at Borders, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon.com, not to mention their own Black Bookstores that provide solid blueprints to reach economic equality (which should have been their fight all along), but few read consistently, if at all.
GREED is another powerful weapon of containment. Blacks, since the abolition of slavery, have had large amounts of money at their disposal. Last year they spent 10 billion dollars during Christmas, out of their 450 billion dollars in total yearly income (2.22%). Any of us can use them as our target market, for any business venture we care to dream up, no matter how outlandish, they will buy into it. Being primarily a consumer people, they function totally by greed. They continually want more, with little thought for saving or investing. They would rather buy some new sneaker than invest in starting a business. Some even neglect their children to have the latest Tommy or FUBU. And they still think that having a Mercedes, and a big house gives the “Status” or that they have achieved the American Dream.
They are fools! The vast majority of their people are still in poverty because their greed holds them back from collectively making better communities. With the help of BET, and the rest of their black media that often broadcasts destructive images into their own homes, we will continue to see huge profits like those of Tommy and Nike. (Tommy Hilfiger has even jeered them, saying he doesn’t want their money, and look at how the fools spend more with him than ever before!). They’ll continue to show off to each other while we build solid communities with the profits from our businesses that we market to them.
SELFISHNESS, ingrained in their minds through slavery, is one of the major ways we can continue to contain them. One of their own, Dubois said that there was an innate division in their culture. A “Talented Tenth” he called it. He was correct in his deduction that there are segments of their culture that has achieved some “form” of success. However, that segment missed the fullness of his work. They didn’t read that the “Talented Tenth” was then responsible to aid the Non-Talented Ninety Percent in achieving a better life. Instead, that segment has created another class, a Buppie class that looks down on their people or aids them in a condescending manner. They will never achieve what we have. Their selfishness does not allow them to be able to work together on any project or endeavor of substance. When they do get together, their selfishness lets their egos get in the way of the goal. Their so-called help organizations seem to only want to promote their name without making any real change in their community. They are content to sit in conferences and conventions in our hotels, and talk about what they will do, while they award plaques to the best speakers, not the best doers. Is there no end to their selfishness? They steadfastly refuse to see that “TOGETHER EACH ACHIEVES MORE (TEAM)! They do not understand that they are no better than each other because of what they own. In fact, most of those Buppies are but one or two paychecks away from poverty. All of which is under the control of our pens in our offices and our boardrooms.
Yes, we will continue to contain them as long as they refuse to read, continue to buy anything they want, and keep thinking they are “helping” their communities by paying dues to organizations which do little other than hold lavish conventions in our hotels.
By the way, don’t worry about any of them reading this letter, remember,
‘THEY DON’T READ!!!!’
(Prove them wrong. Please pass this on!)

REFLECTIONS

I tell you people very fortunate for me that I had not written everything you know me and the public computers and Blog time.  Seems like now people have gone after my USBs. as usual part way through my blog and most of my research done. Looking at my USBs and everything gone!! They have blocked me. So here we go again!! If you are being fought this hard it means you are on the right track.  I am also going to start the book outline for Volume II that would be the experience in Jamaica. Let me apologize to most of you in Jamaica from now at the fact that you are not going to come out in a favourable light. It is what it is!!
I tell you the software in New York is a bit archaic. I am used to manipulating the latest version of Microsoft Word and now I have to go back to 1997 - 2003. Now you see why those petits minded criminally challenged Canadians and their Bro. Anancy Nigerian friends wants me married to stop my destiny.

I remember at one point in my life asking God why He kept repeating the same sermons over and over again. Those sermons coming out of the Charismatic renewal were simply about "Who You Are in Christ'.  Being exposed to teachings by Dr. Myles Munroe every year at Charismatic Teaching Conference; in those days it used to be Maximizing Your Potential then it became The Power of a Vision through it all 'The Purpose of a Thing is the Original Intent of the maker of a The thing.' We had some of the most fantastic teachings at that conference. Speakers from all over the world and the Caribbean, who can forget Pastor Turnel Nelson, the man with the voice like God and Pastor Bertril Baird both from Trinidad. I even went to the Bahamas twice, to date the Worship experience I had at Bahamas Faith Ministries International in 1990 is the best of my life.

Pastor Kenneth E. Hagin - senior; I had my copy of 'The Believers’ Authority' and was a monthly subscriber to the 'Word of Faith', Rhema Ministry's monthly Magazine. Over the past eleven years I have come to realize why; because if I did not have a rock solid foundation I would have crumbled a long time ago. I have been tested to the very core of my being in who I am and what I represent and where I am bound.

However, coming out of all that what I have come to realize is the level of ignorance and lack of commitment that is prevalent in the Kingdom of God. Especially among black people and among black Christians, it has nothing to do with prejudice and everything to do with the reality that one faces on the ground. If as a Christian you have not settled some crucial issues in your life you can't take anyone to the next level and God can't take you to next level. He does not deal with amateurs. That is why King David spent thirteen years running from King Saul and he still ended up messing up.  Jesus puts it this way 'It is He that endures to the end'.  Almost will not cut it!!
Let us look at some quotes from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, from 1963 taken from "The Letter from a Birmingham Jail":

‘I must honestly reiterate that I have been disappointed with the church. I do not say this as one of those negative critics who can always find something wrong with the church. I say this as a minister of the gospel, who loves the church; who was nurtured in its bosom; who has been
sustained by its spiritual blessings and who will remain true to it as long as the cord of life shall lengthen.’

‘In deep disappointment I have wept over the laxity of the church. But be assured that my tears have been tears of love. There can be no deep disappointment where there is not deep love. Yes, I love the church. How could I do otherwise? I am in the rather unique position of being the son, the grandson and the great grandson of preachers. Yes, I see the church as the body of Christ. But, oh! How we have blemished and scarred that body through social neglect and through fear of being nonconformists.’

‘But the judgment of God is upon the church as never before. If today's church does not recapture the sacrificial spirit of the early church, it will lose its authenticity, forfeit the loyalty of millions, and be dismissed as an irrelevant social club with no meaning for the twentieth century. Every day I meet young people whose disappointment with the church has turned into outright disgust.’
Of course our true identity is in Christ and we will certainly be dealing with that but there is a reason why St. Matthew 1 and St. Luke 3 - The Genealogy of Jesus is in the Bible. As one Pastor would say God is not a talkative and in both books it is stated at the beginning of the Books. God don't waste ink!! Location! location! location! Marketing 101. Jesus could have preached until He was blue in the face, if one of the prophecies that was told about Him in the Bible was off He would have no authenticity.  The Apologetics would have nothing to base their arguments on.

Everywhere I go in North America black people are acting as if they are an afterthought or an accident of creation. Everybody knows that (even the suckling child) you want to destroy a black man all you have to do is use another black man. That is why the petits minded criminally challenged Canadians got the Bro. Anancy Nigerians as their enforcers. The things that they balked at doing the Bro. Anancy Nigerians did with alacrity.  The stealing of my library book in Nazi land Mississauga at the time was symbolic, 'Long Walk to Freedom' - The autobiography of Nelson Mandela. Having experienced a little of the prejudice of the Whiteman in North America I can come to appreciate the strength of character of this gentleman. In fact it was the picture of him in that prison with those shit buckets that have kept me strong. He was a saint.  He did not talk about forgiveness as I hear people talking about it now, with their deceptive Sylvester the cat self (Cartoons of my days as I have said on previous occasions I don't want to date myself but Sylvester was always trying to have Tweety bird for dinner). In my days we use to say Bugs Bunny and those cartoons were too violent. What a laugh?  I don't even know what the children are watching now. That is for another Blog. He walked the principle of forgiveness. Talk about turning the other cheek!!

I know there will be a lot of resistance to this Blog by my Caucasian brothers once everyone believed that the painting in the Sistine Chapel of Michelangelo's uncle painted by him was a reflection of Christ there was no problem. However, the day I wrote my FACEBOOK post declaring that they were not to put that picture on my FB page because Jesus was a Palestinian who hid in Egypt, enlightening my Caribbean brothers and sisters and whoever else. Enlightenment has come and some black peoples' eyes are going to be opened.  There is going to be a lot of resistance.

CRITICAL DEFINITION

Identity: the fact of being who or what a person or thing is.

THE BLACK BIBLE

From Genesis to Revelation there is a black presence in the Bible.  The foundation of the Bible is black so I really don't know where and when this distorted European Gospel was manufactured.

ADAM

In the Hebrew, Adam (or Ahdahm) Genesis 1 verses 26 - 28  is defined as swarthy, dusky, reddish-brown soil, dark-skinned like a shadow. Aphar: The soil from which Adham was made, meaning: dust, clay, always very black or very dark brown in color. I remember being at a conference in the Bahamas with Dr. Myles and Fuchsia Pickett having some fun about this.  Dr. Myles said Adam came from dirt and there was no white dirt. Fuchsia Pickett came back and said “What would Oreo be without the cream?’  We all laughed. I had to come to North America to complete my education in what is prejudice.

The Garden of Eden was described in Genesis as having been near a four-river system in the region of the lands of Cush, Havilah, and Asshur, which today would be near the borders of Eastern Sudan, Ethiopia, and Eritrea. The birthplace of humanity was confirmed when the oldest human remains were found in Ethiopia in 1974. Science and the Bible are often at odds, but one thing both confirm is that the birthplace of humanity was in East Africa.

Many of the Hebrew patriarchs married or had children with women from African tribes. Abraham had children with Hagar and Keturah both from African (Hamitic) tribes. Moses married Zipporah Numbers 12 verse 1 , who was Ethiopian. Jacob had children with two handmaidens from African tribes, and these children became the patriarchs of two tribes of Israel.

JETHRO - GOVERNMENT ADVISER/STRATEGIST/PRIEST

Jethro was Moses' father-in-law, father of Zipporah Moses' wife. We were introduced to this gentleman in Exodus 3 when Moses was running from the Egyptians. For the complete exposition on this black man i would suggest you read Dr. Mensah Otabil's book "Beyond the Rivers of Ethiopia'. He will go through the lineage of Jethro the Midianite priest back to Abraham and Keturah. That is one of the reason why God sent Moses to this man because of his ancestry.  In Genesis 18 verse 19 God says that He knows that Abraham would teach his children the ways of God. It took forty years to detox Moses of the systems of Egypt.  When he was ready God Himself visited him in a burning bush.  Fast forward to Exodus 18 you will notice in verse 12 that it was Jethro who did the sacrificing with Aaron and the others. In verses 17 to 24 Father Jethro organized the children of Israel.  Dr. Myles Munroe would say the first local government.  We all say THE BLACK MAN THE VISION OF THE BODY OF CHRIST.  The whole of creation is groaning and waiting for the manifestation of the sons of Ham. God wants to get His business going and you are all running around the church and playing the fool.

HAM/CUSH/NIMROD

After the flood God had to use what he had in terms of human, God but faintly revealed the puzzle of civilization to Noah and his three sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth Genesis 9 verses 1 - 7 and it became their duty to start to work on the first moves of the puzzle, as well as to create nations. He, who would begin from the first, moves and works the matter out to perfection.
Ham, the father of the black man, located in Africa. Africa was his homestead, so to speak. David, the Psalmist, credited Ham with this territory in  Psalm 105 verses 23 - 27 and also Psalm 106 verse 22. Now, if this is not true, and we reject it on the ground of not being sufficient proof of the black man’s first and original home, we can on quite as good ground reject any and every other part of the Bible, for what is   stated here is no wild imagination, but FACTS taken from the Bible.
Cush, Mizriam, Phut and Canaan were the first sons of Ham Genesis 10 verse 6 , and these four sons including Nimrod, the grandson of Ham, were the first to start work on the problem of civilization; in a word they were the pioneers and the very pillars of civilized governments.

Cush located in South Egypt on the River Nile. He became the father of the Ethiopians as well as the father of the Cushites through Nimrod who located on the Southern part of the Euphrates River. It is to be remembered that Nimrod is the founder of the Babylonian kingdom Genesis 10 verse 8 - 10.  Mizriam located on the upper part of the River Nile, and he became the father of the Egyptians. Phut located in the Northern part of Africa. Canaan located in the land known as the old Palestine country, which is modern Turkey. Canaan became the father of the Canaanites Genesis 10 verses 15 - 19.  I tell you you black people are full of 'ites' no wonder you give so much trouble. According to the Bible the above is the exact location of the first sons of Ham, and the question which naturally follows is, “Was civilization born in their land and given birth by Ham’s first offspring?” It is conceded by John Clark Ridpath and a few other writers on ancient history that the Egyptians were the fathers of civilization, according to the chronology of Manetho, an Egyptian priest. Egypt was founded in the year B. C. 3892, and Menes was the first mortal King. The all important question now arises, “Were the Egyptians descendants of black men, or were they descendants of white men? Were they descendants of Ham or Shem?” It is well known that students claim to be divided in their opinion as to the original stock from which the ancient Egyptians came. Ridpath, among others, says they were neither Semitic nor Negro, but concludes his remarks on the origin of the Egyptians by saying that the ancient Egyptians were considered a branch of that part of the Cushite family, which settled in Asia. Probably the little matter of the Cushites being the grand-children of Ham slipped Ridpath’s mind, else his statements would not have been so conflicting, because he just said that they were not Negroes, but ends his argument by saying that they were a branch of the Cushite family of Asia.

We learn from the Bible that Ham is the father of the African family; the Ethiopian is the darkest or blackest tribe of the Hamites. Cush was the founder or father of this tribe. Moses selected his wife from this black or Ethiopian tribe Numbers 12 verses 1 - 10 It must be plain to any one who will read the parts referred to in the Bible, that Ridpath’s contention that the Egyptians sprang from the Cushites was the wrong avenue to escape the blood of the Negro, or their relation to the black man’s family. I believe, however, that Ridpath wrote in good faith for the majority of the historical writers claim that the Egyptians descended from a white race, notwithstanding they admit that the Old Testament gives the truest, the most complete and reliable record on the origin of the Egyptians of any other book, so it is not unnatural to believe that their opinions are influenced by racial prejudice.
Now it is true that the Bible contains the only authentic, and certainly the most ancient record of not only the Egyptians, but of all mankind, and I CAN and will PROVE by it that the Egyptian—Hamite—sprang from Mizriam.

According to the Biblical Gazette, the word “Egypt” is derived from the word Mizriam, and this word “Mizriam” was the name of one of the first sons of Ham  Genesis 10 verse 6. By the word “Egypt” being coined from the word “Mizriam,” it strengthens my contention that the Egyptian was descended from the black man. I will now dig down further into the rich earth of proof for more enlightenment out of the Book of Truth. By viewing the ancient Bible map of Africa and Asia, Africa/Asia Map which map can be found in the back of the New Testament, one can readily pick out the spots upon which Shem, Ham and Japheth first located. You will notice that Mizriam, the second son of Ham, and the accredited father of the Egyptians located on the very spot, so to speak, where the great City of Memphis was built by Menes, the first King of Egypt. Again you will notice that all the names within African borders are names of the sons of Ham, Shem and his offspring, located in Asia. Perhaps a better way to locate Ham, Shem and Japheth and their first offspring is first to read Genesis 10 and Genesis 11 then locate their names on the map, and it will be seen that not a Shemite, or white man, originally located in Africa. All of the white men located in Asia, and according to the Bible white men never began to travel in Africa until Abraham’s time, B. C. 1921. The Egyptians lived in a high state of civilization near 2,000 years before Abraham’s first visit to Egypt, and the appearance of white people was a circus and a curiosity to the black people. Abraham realized this fact and commanded his wife to represent herself as his sister, because as he said, “she was fair to look upon,” white Genesis 12 verses 11 - 13. This would indicate that the Egyptians were not white, and I will say without fear of my assertion being disproven, that until after the time of Abraham, the Egyptians were a simon pure black race. Shortly after Abraham’s visit, the Shemitic or white travellers began to pour into Egypt to such an extent that the Egyptians began inter-marrying with them, and of course, this inter-marrying had its effect of contaminating the pure Negro blood, and this inter-marrying was the cause of the black man, or full blooded Egyptian losing the power of control in the Kingdom. In other words—this is the loop through which the Shepherd or white or Shemitic kings slipped through and took possession of the Egyptian kingdom.

JESUS’ APOSTLES

I tell you people Jesus was something else that is why I wonder what is happening in these churches not only did Jesus have a black revolutionary in his cabinet in the form of Simon the Canaan who was a zealot  St. Matthew 10 verse 4 and St. Luke 6 verse 15.  We have already established who the Canaanites were, black people the son of Ham.  The Zealots were revolutionaries who wanted to overthrow the Roman government by force. They were not like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr who believed in non-violent protest.  As far as they were concerned the Romans were usurpers who needed to be violently ejected. Then Jesus had Matthew who was a Jew and a Tax Collector he worked for the Romans.  I tell you there must have been some very interesting dinner conversations at Jesus' table.  I keep saying people I don't know where this mamby pamby Gospel that is being preached comes from. People who really need help are avoiding the church because the Church has become religious and unrealistic. I don't want to use the word irrelevant again.

SIMON OF CYRENE

People this is why I tell you I do not put up with foolishness in Churches any more, from neither black nor white.  The black man has already carried the cross of Jesus.  We have already done the dirty work. There is only one perfect sacrifice. Simon of Cyrene carried the cross of Jesus Christ  St. Matthew 27 verse 32St. Mark 15 verse 21 and St. Luke 23 verse 26. Cyrene was located in Northern Africa modern day Libya.

PAUL AND HIS COLLEAGUES

Let us visit an ordination service as men of God were being commissioned as missionaries. Acts 13 verses 1 - 3 states that in the church at Antioch, 'prophets and teachers' laid hands on Barnabas and Saul (now known as Paul), setting them apart for the ministry. Clearly, two of the men on the Ordination Council were black. Simeon, whose nickname was Niger (which means 'Black'), and Lucius of Cyrene.  Cyrene (which was in Northern Africa/ present day Libya) was the same place where SImon, the man who carried Jesus' cross, was from (see above).  In Acts 21 verses 37 - 39, Paul a Jew was mistaken for an Egyptian. News flash: Egypt is in Africa, not Europe or Asia, as some would like us to think. Egyptians do not look like the characters in Cecile B. DeMille's famous movie, 'The Ten Commandments'. Egyptians were, and still are, people of colour. For Paul to have been mistaken for an Egyptian, he had to have had a relatively dark complexion, not merely 'a good tan', as some say.

IDENTITY IN CHRIST

Now that we have dealt with all the self esteem issues of you black people we can establish who we all are in Christ.  Dr. Myles Munroe would put it like this we are a 'Spirit man in a dirt suit'. Let no man limit you by the colour of the earth suit you are wearing. The Bible says if any man be in Christ he is a new creation. If the thing could not stump Jesus on this Earth it cannot stump you.  That is the Gospel, God reconciling man to Himself and restoring the authority that Adam gave to the devil. Here are some scriptures establishing who you are in Christ St.John 15 verse 15Isaiah 49 verse 16 and Ephesians 4 verse 24. Remember Jesus did not speak in the nebulous third person He always said "I AM".

IDENTITY THEFT WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Let us not distort the Bible out of expediency – How does wool look?

Revelation 1:14-15King James Version (KJV)
14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
CONCLUSION

In concluding, I would like to advise that when persons have done their demonic and diabolic actions they show white or black colours.  I would like to advise that persons can wear black and white and present the colour black and white until they are blue in the face it means nothing to me.  Based on my experience in North America there is no equality of the races in the sight of man.  Where I come from they have a saying ‘mouth cut cross way mek feh sey anything’ (your mouth is shaped horizontally you have the ability to say anything).

I will know that there is equality of the races when I look at the Dow Jones Composite and fifty percent of the companies listed are black owned not black operated, black owned. You bring your argumentation and I will bring my documentation and experience.

Let us look at a quote from Dr. King from ‘The Letter from a Birmingham Jail’ Just to show that the more things change is the more they remain the same.

'I must make two honest confessions to you, my Christian and Jewish brothers. First, I must confess that over the past few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season." Shallow understanding from people of good will is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will. Lukewarm acceptance is much more bewildering than outright rejection.Emphasis mine!

I would like to round off this Blog with no other than Robert Nesta Marley, he is reflective of the mood I am in, Redemption Song (how long shall they kill our prophets while we stand aside and look)  and
Warthat until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned;
that until there are no longer first class and second class citizens of any nation;
that until the color of a man's skin is of no more significance than the color of his eyes;

that until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all without regard to race;

that until that day, the dream of lasting peace and world citizenship and the rule of international morality will remain but a fleeting illusion, to be pursued but never attained - an excerpt from Haile Selassie's Speech - UN 1963
For all of you Canadian pimps let us leave with Pimper's Paradise from Prophet Bob taking money to work wickedness.

Seems most of us Jamaicans are revolutionaries.
